From What you have said Your great uncle may have been my Father.
His war record was;
Start of war to Dunkirk Gunner, Royal Artillery
Dunkirk till return to England POW
England till end of VE day , training for redeployment
Discharge due to no further requirement for trade (Gunners)

My father was Alexander Cormack, born 1918 to John and Mary Cormack in London. He emigrated to New Zealand in 1947.
His siblings were Alice, George (John) , and William (Bill).
