George & Beverly, Don't know if my 2 cents is worth anything, but I have many George, James and John Cormacks in my tree. My mother's father, George B. Cormack, born June 9, 1892 in Chicago, his father James C. Cormack born October 28, 1860 Aberdeen Scotland (married Effie Collins in US) salesman for A.C. McClurg stationary co., his brothers and sisters: Margaret, Elizabeth Helen, Agnes (all died at young age) brother John Bernard born about 1850 in Aberdeen and married Annie Letters Oct. 27, 1875. Father of James and John, George, a furniture dealer, died before October 27, 1875 and married to Mary Wood. Not sure if George and Mary had other children born before John -- family rumor believes this to be possible, as discussion of a Jesuit priest in the family mentioned, and other brothers too? Hope we can connect! Mary
