Hi George, I don't know if my Cormack ancestors are tied to yours but who knows?
My g-g-g-grandfather was William Cormack born 1816 in Wick. Wife was Janet Elder born 1820. Their children were Alexander born 1842; John born 1844; William born 1847 (he married Alexandrina Sutherland in Nov. 1875); Janet born 1848; James born 1850; Isobella born 1852; Ann born 1855, died 8/21/34. Ann was my g-g-grandmother, married Samuel Sinclair in 1873. All of William and Janet's children were born in Wick.
