I am related to nearly everyone buried in Union Chapel Cemetery including four pairs of gg-grandparents (Levi and Sarah (Bookout) Swearengin, Samuel and Lucinda (Hayden) Roberts, George and Sarah (Brown) Hargis, John and Susan (Hardman) Pace), and at least one ggg-grandparent (Elizabeth (Hues) Hayden).I have no cornelison ancestors but am descended twice from John and Sarah (Vaughn) Bookout, once on my dad's side from Malinda (Bookout) Brown and once on my mother's side from James Oliver Bookout.
I, too, have been to Sunrise Cemetery although it was many years ago, but even then it was overgrown with tree sprouts. James Oliver "Jimmy" Bookout is supposedly buried there but there is no stone.
My grandad Bench's sister Lena was married to John Conley, the grandson of William Elvis Bookout.
As far as George Hale goes I have no idea where he is buried. All I know is his first wife was Malinda Cornelison, his sister Sarah was married to Logan Hargis, his father Thomas was a wheelwright and was from Ohio, and his sister Susan was married to a Wise.
My ggg-grandfather Jacob L. Butler (a "union man") was shot and killed in 1861 in Webster County by a confederate sympathizer named John Puryear and is buried in Easter (Denny) Cemetery on the hill above Finley River at Fox Ford.
