My grandfather's name was also Antonio Valenza, born in May 20th, 1896 in Tunisia (in those times part of Italy), Municipio Di Pantelleria, Prov. of Trapani. Son of Giovanni Valenza and Concetta Lamacchia, originaly from Palermo, Sicily. My grandfather had 4 sisters: Irene, Laura, Maria and Aida. The family moved to Argentina in the early 1900's. Giovanni operated a factory manufacturing wine barrels. I believe that Giovanni's mother maiden name was Carta and Concetta Lamacchia's mother was Pellegrini.
