My maternal grandmother (and great-grandparents) were from Fonsazo, Belluno, Italy. Her maiden name was Savina Vigna. My grandparents (Savina and Luigi)and their first 2 children (my mother Marķa and my aunt, Marina) came to America by Ellis Island in 1927. I have a book on the history of the town of Fonsazo in Italian written by my great-uncle Alfonso Vigna but have not had the time to read it yet. I will look to see if Mr. Vincent Corso and his family are mentioned. Another great-uncle became a Silesian missionary and went to the Amazon. He wrote out his memories (in Italian) using a typewriter. I began translating them into Spanish/English but have been unable to continue because I have been working on other things.
Ciao amici.
