Hi, I'm a Corso from Boston.I never knew there were so many Corso's. My greatgandfathers name was Giovanni who married Angela Spegusa (?sp). They lived on the Via La Saliga, Termini Imerese, Sicily.
I'm told they had three sons Michael, Servino, Augustino (my grandfather)Born in 1874 and two sisters Teresa and Maria. My grandfather came to America in 1892 with his mother and brothers and sisters. he worked forThe NECCO candy company. He married Cosima(Ann) DiBlasi in 1903.
They had eleven children, 9 girls and 2 boys. My father, Joseph, was born in 1921.
I was told that his Uncle Michael went to Ohio(maybe Oxford) and had a farm and that he had a son (?) and two (?) daughters. My father went out to visit sometime in the late 30's. I don't know what happened to the other brothers or sisters.
If you or anyone else has additional information it would be greatly appreciated.
