I am new to genealogy. I was searching for "Lloyd Corston" and you came up. Lloyd is an unusual name, and in our Corston branch it has been passed down for the last 3 generations.

My mother's branch of Corstons is from Michigan. Her father's name was Lloyd Clarence Corston b.4/19/1902, d. 11/1/1990(m. Annie Maude Dowling b. 4/4/1899, d. 12/74). They 1 natural daughter (Nancy Patricia), 1 natural son (Lloyd Orlo Corston), and adopted 1 son (Arthur John Corston). Lloyd Orlo also has a son named Lloyd.

Lloyd Clarence worked for the Hudson's Bay Company in Canada as a furrier. His father was Charles Henry Corston and was married to Catherine Gassman. I am unsure if Charles Henry was born on this continent or if he came over from the British Isles (probably the Orkneys?).

I hope this helps a little. Maybe if you have information that I don't maybe we could help each other?

Regards,

Dori
