Dear Daryl or Romey:
According to information in the Mabou Cosmans Family Tree (genealogy.com), James Edgar Cosman, born 1844, was the greatgrandson of James Cosman, born 1763 in Digby, NS. He married Mary Carroll in 1868 and died about 1912. If I've been keeping track correctly, James Blaksley Cosman(1850), my greatgrandfather, Frederick Miles Cosman (1863), James Edgar Cosman (1844), and Millage Cosman were all second cousins and shared the same greatgrandfather (James). Isn't this fascinating?

John Cosman, Oak Harbor, WA
