Sarah Coston.

I have reached a brick wall in my search for my great great grandmother Sarah Coston. I know that she married Levi Motsinger in Indiana in about 1850 or 1852, but where she was born and who her parents were has got me to the hairpulling stage.

Oral family tradition says she was a fullblooded Seminole Indian, if so why Indiana, I think she could have been Afro-American. I used to have a portrait of her daughter, my great grandmother, She was a beautiful woman, with straight black hair and dark eyes, and she looked very much like an Indian.... I myself have been told I look like an Indian...
I have tried to access the Seminole Indian tribe through the BIA and have received no reply.
IS there any one who can give me any clues of where to look?
