I posted this reply on another Coston or Costen forum. Bethia DeCosta who married Amos Webster were the parents of John Philbrick Webster who wrote many songs and had them published. It is said that Bethia DeCosta was the daughter of Ebenezer DeCosta and Rhoda Goffe, the daughter of Col.John Goffe. I'm assuming that this Rhoda is Elizabeth Goffe that you refer to. The above information is in the book, "History of Walworth County, Wisconsin" by Albert Clayton Beckwith, 1912. If anyone has any other information regarding this I would appreciate it.

Thank you,
Sybil Butler
