I started research last September and have discovered I am a descendant of the Cothrons.
3rd great grandparents-John Peyton Hargis and Pheby Elizabeth Cothron.

4th-Lambert Moore Cothron and Eliza Young

5th-Robert Moore Cothron and Winifred Brinkley

6th-William Cothron and Elizabeth Cates

7th-John Cothron and Mary "Mollie" Satterfield

8th-Alexander Cothron and Esther Dickson

Some of this info I have found in records at the archives and other was given to me in research done by family or found on the internet. Would appreciate anything on the family and would like to be told of any errors in my data.

My mother was born in Smith Co., TN and is a descendant of several families in the Smith, Macon and Trousdale counties.
