My ancestors, John Cottam and Catherine Livesey had a son named William Livesey Cottam. He was born 1 Aug 1833 in Waddington, Yorkshire,England; christened 25 Aug 1833 in Waddington, Yorkshire, England; buried 27 Mar 1842 in Waddington, Yorkshire, England. The family lived at Meadowhead Farm between West Bradford and Waddington. As the mother liked to throw parties, they lost the farm and moved to Clitheroe. There, the family made chairs. Later, John and two sons, John and Thomas emigrated to the United States as they had been converted to the Mormon religion.
