I have seen the directories and so I knew Jean Joseph had a china shop. I seem to remember something about Francois having a shop later, but didn't know it, too, was a china shop. I wouldn't have thought there was that much business/need for china shops in those days, but I guess they needed something to eat off! I got a copy of Jean Joseph's succession from the microfilm archives in the New Orleans library, and part of the settlement was the sale of Jean's shop. As far as the cemetary, I'm not very surprised. It seems everywhere you go you find rude people!
