My John Samuel Coulson was born in Pa. I know he had a brother named James, who was born in NY. Their father was Patrick Coulson, who married Elizabeth LeCompte in Maryland. My John and brother James ended up in Mississippi...John in Natchez and James in Vicksburg. John married Eliza Jane Barfield. James married (I think) Mary Barfield (can't remember her first name). James shot and accidently killed himself while he was out hunting one day. (sigh) John and Eliza are buried in the Old Natchez Cemetery.
