I am also a descendant of Thomas Coulson through his son Joseph and Joseph's daughter Margaret who married John Coppock. The Coulson's were Quaker's, at one time anyway.I am not real sure how far back I have the Coulson's but I do have the line back to Charlemagne, although I have a problem accepting it. I do have a small amount of info on the Coulson's in their early years here. I will try and locate it. Oh yes Nottingham was one place before until a survey split into two with west being in current day MD. Take care.
