Hannah Maria (Howe) Hartford died in 1932 in Harwich Township, Kent County,Ontario. In her last will and testament she lists: To each of my following grandchildren, namely: Charles Coulson, Harry Coulson and Bertha Coulson, I give and bequeath unto her the sum of two hundred dollars as a gift. Hannah Maria was my great grandmother. There were many other grandchildren born and living at this time but these Coulson children were the only grandchildren left anything. We think that maybe they were either orphaned or their mother was gone. We are trying to also establish who their mother was. We thought once she was also a Bertha but in any obituaries it only lists 3 daughters all acounted for but not a 4th daughter named Bertha. My grandmother corresponded with Bertha's daughter a Margaret possibly the daughter of a Bertha Coulson. Margaret we believe married a Jim Mitchell. Margaret Mitchell may have lived in Michigan. Anyone that could help with these Coulson children would be greatly appreciated so we know exactly where to put them in the tree.
