Looking for a possible connection of Rowan Co., NC to Michael & Hannah Tracy. They were land acquistion connections to plots owned by Zebulon Bears as the follow shows. Any assistance in identifying The Tracys in Rowan/Davidson Counties is appreciated.
Freddy Brown.

1787 - Aug. 3, Patrick Coyl sold to Thomas Coyl 100 acres. Adj. To Michael Younger. Part of a 320 acre land grant ot Hugh McCrery by Henry McCulloh on Dec. 19, (2nd yr of reign of King George, III), and by him Hugh McCrery to Patrick Coyl by lease dated Feb. 6th and 7th, 1767 Boyd McCrery heirs to Hugh McCrery to Patrick Coly. Also witnessed by Elijah Merrell. Aug. session, 1787. Witnessed by Michael Treacey and Elijah Merrell.
******** interpretation - 100 acres of the original grant of 320 acres of Henry McCulloh who sold it to Hugh McCrery who sold it to Patrick Coyle in 1767 who is now selling it to Thomas Coyle. Hugh McCrery had a son Boyd (1754-1819) who married Anna Merrell (1758-1790). Patrick Coyle had a son Patrick Jr. (1758-1804) who married Nancy McCrary (1759-1838), probably dau. of Hugh McCrery). Elijah Merrell must be closely related to Anna Merrell, and Michael or his wife Hannah must be related to the Coyles, thus both sides being represented by witness. ********

1787 - Boyd McCrery to Hugh McCrery 100 acres deed to rectify errors commited ini drewins lease on 6th & 7th of Feb. 1767 from Hugh McCrery to Patrick Coyl. This was recorded in reference to the above Aug. 3rd deed where Patrick Coyl & wife Jane sold the 100 acres to Thomas Coyl. Witnessed by Elijah Merrell and Michael Treacey.
1793 - Feb. 2, sold 100 acres of 2nd grant of June 1792 on Abbot's Creek, to Joseph Parke. Michael was listed as a potter by trade. Witnessed by Thomas Coyl, John Silvers. It was signed by Michael Tracey, seal, and Hannah Tracy, her mark, seal.
"sold 100 acres of land, the same being part of a tract of 200 acres of land granted to the said Michael Tracey by the state of North Carolina by a deed of sale bearing date of June 1792 (Book 13, page 232) 2nd grant of June 1792........"
1795 - July 16, Catherine Lipps or Lopp sold 100 got 100 acres state grant # 2385 adjacent to Michael Holthouser's corner on Godfrey Ratz's line, to Michael Tracy's corner, Conrad Brem's corner.
