I do know that the Coulson/Colson family were Indian traders. Abraham Colson and James Colbert were registered Chickasaw traders. And in 1717 the Commonwealth of Virginia issued a warrant for the arrest of Jacob Colson, James Lundy, and several others for trading with the
Tuscaroras without permission.
Is John Featherstone connected to an Indian tribe? In Accomack Co., VA Mary Bibby married an Accomac Indian named
John Freshwater.
Richard Buckland and the Chase family of Accomack Co. were neighbors of Christopher Calvert, my 7th GG.
Richard
