Hi all,
This is a long shot but I'm trying to find any information regarding COUPAL's from Iran.
I have a friend who's name is COUPAL who came to ****** after escaping from Iran during the religious uprising in the late 70's.
My friend has a very interesting story to tell but due to him not knowing that I'm posting this msg, I feel unable to go in to great detail regarding this ATM. However, I feel it is ok to mention that this family was a wealthy family who were at a very high level in Iranian society that goes back some years.
What I would like to know is, could this COUPAL family have any connection regarding this forums name, or is it just a coincidence that this forums COUPAL name is the same, because I noticed that someone mentioned that COUPAL is a variant of another name. In addition, what are the origins of this name and what does the name mean? Please don't tell me it means something like 'King' otherwise, I'll never hear the last of it ;)
