There is a possibility you may be searching for a name that is spelled Corse. My 6 x g grandfather James Coursey/Corse, changed the spelling of his name in 1696 from Coursey to Corse. It is documented in a Quaker meeting in Cecil Co., Md.He came from England, and immigrated to Talbot Co., Md in 1677.One of his sons, John Corse married a Susanna Hanson of De. Her father was Timothy Hanson.John & Susanna named their sons, William, John, Samuel, Timothy and Thomas. You might want to look into this line - there is a possibility yours could connect. Also there was a Dickinson family that were Quakers.
Good luck,
Betty Craig
