My Courtenay ancestry comes primarily from the Okehampton area of Devon where they they were the lords of Okehampton Castle. This ancestry covers primarily the 13th and 14th centuries and evolves in two interesting lineages - one from Battle of Hastings lord Richard de Redvers and the other from Magna Charta Surety Baron Robert de Vere, Earl of Oxford.
I have narrative files on my Courtenay ancestry in MS Works which need to be sent as e-mail attachments. Also PDF files with narrative detail on the Devon burial places of several prominent Courtenays as well as about Hugh de Courtenay (d.1291) the lord of Okehampton Castle and the castle itself as well as other historic areas of Devon. Sorry, I have no ancestry in the Cornwall area.
To send e-mail attachments I will need your permission to reply directly to your e-mail address. Let me know if you are agreeable.
