The William Covert (also could be spelled Covart, as his heirs used both spellings) showed up in 2 censuses in 1900. One was in Guthrie, Logan Co., OK with his daughter Amanda (John) Armstrong family. He is also shown in Silverdale, Cowley Co., KS, with his daughter Louisa (Wesley) Thomas.
Do you have death records for him in 1902, for this appears to be the same William Covert? Where in OK did he die?
Do you have any information on him earlier than the 1850 census in New Milford, PA?? Do you have his parentage?
Thanks for connecting on this.
