I am tring to find the parents of Mary Eliza "Eliza" Covert. We think she was born about 1820, possibly a few years later, in either Yates or Steuben Co. NY.
She married Phillip Harris Abbott born in Yates Co. NY. They lived in Steuben Co. and several of their children were born in Stueben Co. NY. Family tradition says she was the dau. of Abram Covert. Phillip Harris Abbott was involved in the lumber business and they went to Bradford McKean Co. PA where he continued in that business.
Other related Coverts went to McKean Co., too.
Does anyone know that she was the dau. of Abram W. Covert or who her parents were.
