Violet Covert and Marvin Franklin from Missouri

I'm looking for any information on Marvin Kenneth Franklin and Violet Covert Franklin, my maternal grandparents. My mom, Margaret Jean Franklin, grew up in the Glencoe/Jeddburgh area of Missouri. She was born in 1931.

There are quite a few currently living relatives in the St. Louis area. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated and I'll share what I have, although that's not very much. I've just started this process.
