their daughter Jane Custard (Custer) b 1 May 1752 Sussex NJ d 7 Oct 1850 New Athens OH m 6/10/1777 to George Brokaw b 29 Mar 1728 Somerset NJ d 27 Jun 1820 Cadiz OH m 10 June 1777 Walpack NJ Dutch Reformed Church
their son John P Brokaw b 1793 d 1876 m 6/10/1823 to Sarah Burwell b 1802 d 1883 whose mother was Catherine Custard a SISTER to Jane Custer so John married his first cousin!!

George Brokaw's line goes back to about 1620 and Jane Custard's (and Catherine Custard's) back to about 1542.
