I have a lot of information about the Cowieson's in Ontario - far too much to set out here.

My connection is through the Burr family from Aberdeenshire. Jane Burr from my family was your 4Xgreat grandmother. She married John Cowieson in Fyvie, Aberdeenshire on 29 November 1832. They migrated to Canada in about 1842.
Their third child was a son John who was born in Scotland in May 1836. He married Elizabeth Spooner in 1863 and they had a son John Cowieson born in 1866 - this John and his wife Amy Belfry were the parents of Arthur Lloyd Cowieson.
