Hello Mike,

I saw the William and Mary family with Ann being shown as the only child, but that doesn't mean she was an only child, they may have had more children and had moved away.
I saw a marriage around 1826 on Family Search for a William at Burton, but no names came up when I tried to get in to it.
If you can get the parish records from where Ann was born at your local LDS office, you may find more children.
Have you looked at the COXON Rootsweb World Connect programme? There are 501 COXONs there, most of them from the area you are looking at. One of the main contributors from around the Derby area is a lady in New Zealand:-
Christine Clement <cmclement@clear.net.nz>

She may be able to help you!

Good luck,

Harry
