Dear Harry,

Thank you very much for the additional information you supplied today. You must have screeds of information about this family and your command of detail is most impressive!

For the record, I am wondering whether or not you happen to know also where any of the people you mention are buried, where they were married and/or baptised? This could be useful to any researcher in the future.

Whilst I am not personally connected by blood to the Coxon family, I have forwarded your contribution to various surviving members of (my) Coxon family. I am sure they will find your information fascinating and they may even contribute themselves to this site in due course.

It seems a fair bet that Samuel Bailey Coxon and the John Bailey Coxon you mention were brothers. If that is right, we have found a further generation, both of them being descended from Joseph Garnet Wolseley Coxon and his wife.

Many thanks again for your contribution,

Clifford Allison.
