Looking for Info on Ontario, Canada Coxon's

Hello:

I'm a Coxon, 30 yrs old, looking for info on my dad's side of the family. I have very little information to work with. I was born and raised in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. My father's name is Roy Coxon (Charles Roy Coxon Jr.). He was born in Cannifton (Belleville), Ontario. His parents names were Roy Coxon (Charles Roy Coxon Sr.) and Lorna Weese. Roy Sr. served in the Canadian Army (Infantry Division) in WWII, and returned home wounded. He had two other brothers that I know of - Thomas Coxon Jr. (died during WWII - served in the Navy on the HCMS Margaree), and Jack Coxon (also served in the war, still residing in Belleville, ON). All three brothers were sons of Thomas Coxon Sr. and Edith Vitler (possibly from Trenton, Ontario). My father has several brothers (all moved to Thompson Manitoba) and one deceased sister who died of pneumonia in infancy. My father's mother (Lorna Weese), was daughter of Winfred Weese and Myrtle Hodge.

Unfortunately, that is all of the information I have. I fear our family history has been lost, so I would be grateful if there is anybody out there who may be able to shed some light on either my grandfather's or grandmother's ancestory.

Please email me directly at: raingoose@hotmail.com

Thank you,
Angela Coxon
