HI Lynne,
I did a search for Crandalls in Bradford County, PA in the census and came up with a Philip Sheridan Crandall and wife Belle who had several sons who would be the right age to have married Beatrice. The Crandall genealogy says Philip S was born in Alba, PA. There is only on child listed with a spouse so I do not know if the line simply did not get brought forward for the others or if they were never married at all.
The sons are:Philip L., born ca. 1911; Paul L., b. abt 1915; Earl W., born 1917. According to the Crandall genealogy Paul was married to Clarabelle Smith in 1936 and they had several children so I doubt this would be your guy, but the others might be possibilities, unless you already ran across them and ruled them out.
