I don't go back quite that far, but I'm looking for information on three Isaac Cranfields in Burnham on Crouch. The eldest was born around 1817 and married a woman named Martha from Paglesham. The next, presumably his son, although I am not certain of that, was born around 1840 and was an agricultural labourer in Burnham on Crouch, married to Hannah, with a daughter named Charlotte. The last one, who is of most interest to me, was born circa 1864 and worked as first mate on a barge called the 'Marianna' in 1881, either dredging or ferrying goods up to London.
This man, I think, married my great great grandmother Rosa Cowles and had at least two children with her, Tom and Polly.
Don't know if this is any use to you, or is you know anything more about them?
