I descend from Littleton Crankfield (1775-1846) b. in Anson, Co. NC and died in Fairfield Co. SC. His daughter, Margaret Jane Crankfield (1818-1860) married Sanders Samuel Hogan (1802-1858). One of the sons of Sanders Samuel Hogan was Eugene Belton (1856-1922). One of his sons was Claude Byron Hogan (1888-1923) who was the father of my mother, Hazel Hogan (Terrar). Sanders Samuel, Eugene Belton and Claude Belton Hogan all lived and died in South Carolina. Eugene Belton Hogan moved from Fairfield Co. to Sumter Co. and started a meat market about 1890.
I would appreciate knowing how you descend from Littleton Crankfield and any info. you might have.

's, who was my mother's great grandfather. Emma Boyle, a cousin and descendent of Littleton Crankfield believed that Littleton's wife was named Lucy Wilson. Emma has Littleton Crankfield's father as Lewis.
