Looking for info regarding parents, siblings and descendants of William Cranfill, b. Feb. 22, 1828 in NC, d. Aug. 5, 1895 in Baxter Co., AR. William is said to have operated a ferry at what is now known as Cranfield's Landing in Baxter County. He came to that area about 1840's and married Edith Trivitt. Children: Anderson, Patsy Jane and Edith LaVicia (Vessie) Cranfill. Wife Edith died shortly after the birth of Vessie, my ggrandmother in 1851.
Second wife was Clara Willard with whom he had James, 1872; Henry, 1875; Duncan, 1877; Homer; Malissa; and Robert L., b. Feb 20, 1884, d. Jan. 15, 1959, m. Nellie Stone on Sept. 6, 1907. Would like to hear from anyone with info regarding this line.
