Wendy,I am trying to trace some Cranfills from Irdell>Yadkin Counties. The line goes as so, Toby Jack Cranfill(B 1928)>Rosco Odell Cranfill (1912-1979) >David Manless Cranfill(1881-1942)>William Burgess Cranfill (1850-1927) > "to I'm told". Ely(Eli) Cranfill and I have Ely son of Jonathan > Hezakiah. The problem is I do not find any children listed for Eli by the name of William Burges. Ely had a son Eli C., soI had hoped this was the father of William Burgess, but have been unable to find any children for Eli C at all.Since some of the county lines have changed over the years, I was hopeful of something ringing a bell on any of these names with you, or could you suggest where to look for Eli C.'s children.Any help would be great. Thanks Nora
