It seems everyone is in the same position with the Cranmers. It's very difficult to actually pinpoint a relationship when you get beyond the start of Civil Registration unless you know the parish in which a birth marriage or death took place. There is always probate however and this might be worth checking. I'll try that next time I get some time to research. I also have a reasonable amount of information on the Leese family, but only from Henry and Elizabeth. I have various census schedules of William Cranmer Lees(e) and family whilst they were living in Well St Hanley. Although they are listed in 1871 and 1881 as Leese the births of their children seem to be registered as Lees. I found this branch of the family when checking census records for the address at which my great grandmother was born. Her father John and his family must have been staying with William at the time. Anyway I would love to share any information I have with you and likewise receive any information you might have. If you let me have your e-mail address I'll forward what I can to you. Pat Preston.
