We desperately need to find a surviving male CRAY descended from the CRAY line that went from GA to Navarro County, TX and/or FL. They are no doubt descended from the William CRAY of Onslow Co., NC.
Such a surviving male could furshish the Y-Chromosome DNA test results to establish the identifying 'finger print markers' of the Onslow, NC line of CRAY descendants. Those markers could be used to compare with the markers already obtained from the descendants of William H. CRAYSE, b. 1780 in NC, as well as the PA line of CRAYS.
PLEASE contact me if you are a male CRAY whose ancestry has been traced to FL or TX, or further back to GA and NC.
