Hi. I was doing family research and saw your message in reply to my cousin Debbie's query.

According to everything we have been told Edward Earwood was indeed Wallace Creasman's nephew and that his parents did die. I haven't found any record of their deaths but I, too, found the marriage of Mary Creasman and Thomas Earwood.

My great grandfather, Wallace Chaudoin, was Biddie's grandson. He lived with my grandparents, Lee and Nancy Perry (his daughter) for a while when my mother, Ruby, was a small girl. She said he would tell her stories of his life and he told her his grandmother, Biddie Schrimsher, was Cherokee. I don't believe Wallace Creasman was the father of Mary Jane, though. According to census records she was born in 1833 or 1834 which would have made her 5-7 yrs old when Wallace and Biddie married.

Does your family have any information on where Biddie may have lived prior to marrying Wallace Creasman or her Cherokee background?

I would appreciate any info you may have. If I come across anything I think you may be interested in, I'll send it your way.
