William, I just moved to the Charlotte area (Fort Mill, SC actually) but my grandfather, James Robert Creasman, is from the Ashville area. I don't know much more past that but he was in the Army in WWII and worked for the Veptco Power company (probably in Virginia). He was married to Pauline Elizabeth Carroll and they had 3 children, James Robert Creasman, Jr. (my father), John Joseph Creasman, and Carroll Grace Creasman. They had lived in the central Florida area for the last 30 years or so but everyone but my father has passed on now and I was hoping to trace my roots a little further up the tree. Let me know if you have any information leading to James Robert Creasman. Thanks!
