I'm descended from the Civil War soldier (Co. K., 11 Reg. NC State Troops), Private Joseph Henry Creasman, who died at Gettsyburg 11 May, 1863; and his wife, Jane (Stroup) Creasman of Buncomb County. They had nine children: Julia, Thomas L., Margaret C., Fanny E., Sarah Jane, Phillip N., John, Alice, and Emily L. I dont' know who Joseph's parents were, but Jane was the daughter of David and Margaret (Ingle-Finger{if I've got the last name right}) Stroupe Sr. Jane lived at Swannanoa and/or Fairview, died 27 March, 1908, and is buried @ Brasstown Cem.
I will be glad to share what I have about their children. And, I could REALLY use some help regarding Joseph's parents ...

Blessings & Joy
