some family historians, myself included, have discovered the terrible truth of the early Creasmans. They named their children after living uncles, as well as their ancestors. The original brothers who settled in the Carolinas was Adam and younger brother Conrad. Adam was married to Jane Rheel. Your Adam, married to Molly Rossin was a son of Adam, the original. Your ancestor moved to McMinn county, Tenn. in about 1840. He took all children but one married daughter, Fannie. I urge you to always clarify the male Creasman by notating the spouse and children. later...
