Thanks for answering my query. It could be our Creedens are related, I don't know. John & Ellen Creeden did have a son John, who I figured may have been born abt 1836. Also, a distant cousin once sent me the following, passed down through the family: "Ellen Welsh/Welch had a son, a priest, but years ago drowned. He lived in Louisville, KY. Believe his name was Bernard Creeden." That's all I've been abele to learn about them. From what I can make out,Welsh must have been her maiden name. Does any of this sound familiar to you? Do you know anything about these people? The information given me is very confusing, but I gather our Patrick Creeden had cousins at Louisville. I will e-mail you with further information. Vivian
