FYI on George Creel and Mary Ball.
George Creel is the son of William Creel (and probably Martha LNU). This family lived near Warrenton until about 1850. most of their children removed to McLean County, Illinois in the years just prior to the Civil War. George apparently died in 1848, and is reportedly buried somewhere near Warrenton. This information comes from a McLean County biography on John Henry Creel, which clearly states that his grandfather was William Creel.
Mary Ball is the daughter of Benjamin Ball and Anna LNU; this is documented from Benjamin's will, where Mary Creel is listed as his daughter. She died in the 1870s (I do not have the exact data with me), and is buried in the Frankeberger Cemetery near Holder with some of her children. Benjamin Ball is of the Carter Run Balls, and is apparently not currently connectible to the Middlesex County Balls.
George and Mary also had a first son named Benjamin who was born in 1803. There is substantial data regarding this very active Reverend elsewhere on the forum.
