Keith,
I have just started researching the Crego family. I am related to them through Thomas Baker who married Asahel Crego's widow Margaret. Thomas and Margaret had 5 children together one who was my ggg grandmother Persey. I have obtained copies of Paul and Alexander Crego's marriage registrations and thus followed the family through Canada and later to Michigan. I also have a copy from the Toronto archives of surrogate court records for the settling of Asahel Crego's estate in 1844. I have been trying to get info on Margaret's family. I know her maiden name was McNab but as to her parents I'm not sure! Hopefully someone out there can give me the information I'm looking for. I have discovered that she was living with son Alexander Crego in 1900 in Michigan. I have a fair bit of info on her and the Crego's in Canada and Michigan that I can share if anyone is interested. I live in British Columbia Canada.
