I am interested in your information and pictures. I am a descendant of James Creighton born in County Down, Ireland in 1787. His father was named John and his mother was Margaret Hewitt. Don't have much info on John but wonder if he is maybe the father of your John Creighton? That would make him the brother of my James Creighton. I'm thinking there could be a connection simply due to the children's names. Lots of girls born later named Eliza or Margaret and boys named James, John, or Hugh. Could be coincidence, but I'd love to see what you have. You can contact me directly at or just post to this site. Look forward to hearing from you.
