Need help finding Creighton lineage
Posted by: Brooke Davis (ID *****7629) Date: July 11, 2002 at 15:46:27

Hello, all!:-)

My family lines include Creightons. We can go back as far as John Henry Creighton, who died during the battle of Fredricksburg, and his son, John Creighton, who was orphaned because of the Civil War and ended up at the Civil War Orphans home in Philadelphia, PA in 1867.

I'm looking for information concerning John Creighton's mother, wife, children, etc., as well as John Henry Creighton's parents, siblings, etc. I want to go back in time as far as possible, as this lineage has been a mystery to our family.

Thanks in advance for any help!:-)
