I have obtained several articles and cannot connect the dots to my family - John CREIGHTON - from Tamlaght O'Crilly, Ireland to Ontario, Canada c 1830; family of his son James CREIGHTON and Ann nee ENGLISH emigrated to Alberta early 1900's from Dorchester, Ontario.

Obit - John Creighton born Nappan, NB in 1851; to Calgary from Chatham, NB in 1887

50th Anniversary Arthur Creighton b Collington, Ont; to Edmonton 1911; former lineman with the 1922 edition of the Edmonton Eskimos; Mrs. Creighton (no maiden name) born Belfast, Ireland; to Canada 1908

Member of Blood Indian tribe Percy Creighton ; Lethbridge, Alberta

Arthur Creighton operated the Olds Drug Company Alberta

Billy Creighton homesteaded Rosebud area, Alberta; sold in 1922

John and Agnes Creighton from Alexander, Manitoba to Alberta; son Fin who died 1934; Elsie Margaret and Andrew Alexander died very young and buried in the cemetery at Alexander, MB; Dr. Jack Creighton of Nanton and Dr. Jim Creighton of Estevan, Sask went to the Boer War; daughter Agnes married Jack Lineham; a second article on the Tom and Janet Lineham Janet (Nettie) Creighton married 1906 Okotoks, Alberta; she was the 6th child of 10 born to John and Jent Creighton early settler of the east Black Diamond area and homesteaded in Youngstown country.

James and Nancy Creighton James born Ontario 1884; Nancy nee Berry born Clementsport, NS 1884; Nancy worked in a shoe factory in Brockton, MA; 1918, she and her brother Chester to Daysland, Alberta to visit her sister, Mrs. Ray Bowlby; James and Nancy adopted a son James Jr.

Obit - William Creighton died 1940 Edmonton; native of Cobourg, Ont; settled at Yellow Grass, Sask 1899; 1911 to Edmonton; married in 1887 to Margaret Metheral at Dunedin, Ont; one daughter Mrs. T. A. Johnston W Vancouver; sons Kenneth of Camrose and Arthur of Edmonton; brother Arthur of Duncan BC; Tom of Flin Flon Man; Jack of Aldina, Sask; sisters Mary Creighton of N Vancouver; Jean Creighton of Boston, MA; Mrs. Francis Dobbs of Toronto; Mrs. Letita Doake of Zepher Ont and Mrs. M Gowan of Kitchener, Ont. Son J. D. Creighton killed in France in 1917.
