Elizabeth Crighton married George Huntly on November 13, 1784 in Ayton, Berwick, Scotland. They had the following children:
Thomas Huntly, christened February 12, 1786
Mary Huntly, christened February 5, 1788
Apoliny Huntly, christened September 21, 1791
James Huntly, christened February 23, 1794
George Huntly, christened February 19, 1796
Margaret Huntly, born 1797
Jean Huntly, christened November 17, 1799
Elizabeth Huntly, christened August 7, 1803
Janet Hogarth Huntly, christened October 2, 1804

I have found a record of the birth of an Elizabeth Crighton in the Records of the Parish Church of Eccles, Berwick, Scotland. It lists the following:
Name: Elspeth Crighton
Born: no entry
Baptism: January 21, 1765
Father: William Crighton
Mother: Elspeth Stevenson
Father's occupation: no entry
Public: no entry
Private: Jno Hutchinson, Alex Ramsay

Elizabeth/Elspeth Crighton also had a brother, Peter, who was christened January 10, 1768. In the private section of the entry in the church
records, the following were listed:
Alex Dods
William Stevenson

I believe that Elspeth Stevenson was the daughter of William Stevenson and Elspeth Dods, although I have not been able to firmly establish that.

I have also not been able to firmly establish that the Elizabeth/Elspeth Crighton who married George Huntly is the daughter of William Crighton
and Elspeth Stevenson.

If anyone has any information that would be helpful, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Doug Kelly
