By chance was the spelling of Owen Creighton really Owens. I've seen it spelled this way. But also have seen it spelled Owen. Owen was my grandfather. I'm trying to find out if his name was really Owens. Since I had seen it this way, I thought maybe he was named after his mothers maiden name, which I believe was Owens. Do you know any of the other relatives. My mother didn't really know her fathers side of the family very well. I did meet a few of them awhile back, but didn't follow thru, which I wish I had now.
