The Elgin Daily Leader, July 14, 1881. Committee on Claims. The council committee on claims will meet Friday evening with the attorneys for Wm. Creighton and Mrs. John Corbin and see what can be done towards settling the claims for damages which these persons hold against the city. (Posted as a courtesy. Not related.)
